After being aged for a minimum of two years, these tobaccos are rolled into exquisite blends that feature all of the rich taste and aroma of Cuban-seed tobaccos at half the price. Constructed with a Jalapa Maduro wrapper, these Ortega Jalapa cigars are smooth and creamy with an aromatic finish. The blend is medium to full bodied with notes of wood, nuts, and leather.

The Jalapa Valley is a small region in Nicaragua where the climate and soil are considered to be the perfect conditions for growing tobacco. Ortega cigars took inspiration from this region and named their cigar after it. The Ortega Jalapa Maduro is made using a blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos consisting of Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa. It is covered by a dark and rich Jalapa Habano wrapper that has notes of pepper, wood, and spice.
