The Jalapa Valley is a small region in Nicaragua where the climate and soil are considered to be the perfect conditions for growing tobacco. Ortega cigars took inspiration from this region and named their cigar after it. The Ortega Jalapa Habano is made using a blend of Nicaraguan tobaccos consisting of Esteli, Condega, and Jalapa. It is covered by a dark and rich Jalapa Habano wrapper that has notes of pepper, wood, and spice.
